Hi everyone, this is my first attempt at blogging. I’m having fun figuring it out so far. I’m the host of your reading and viewing pleasure Meghan McAuley!
I was born in Huntington Beach California, a lot of my family still lives in Cali, but I currently reside in Branson Missouri. When people ask where I’m from I just say I’m half West Coast girl and half Mid-Western girl. I’d like to be out there in Cali right now with the cold temps here in Missouri! Ugh!!! It’s a tad warmer in Cali for sure.
Anyway, I love fashion, art, and occasionally writing. I’ve enjoyed these hobbies since I was three and could pick up a pencil maybe even before then who knows. I haven’t done much with them because I’ve been too busy with school and work to make something of these talents.
About 6 ago I decided that it’s better late than never to make my dreams come true and do what makes me happy. Of course I still have to work a mundane job, that pays for my living expenses, but at least now I have 5 year plan set in stone which makes all the blood sweat and tears worth the trouble.
Not that I haven’t had that before, the plans were always there I just never saw myself succeeding in them. Now I do no matter what I’m gonna get there cause it’s just me and hard work, and of course all my amazing friends and family giving me motivational counsel. 😁
